This is a yummy simple tart for any casual occasion.

It can be topped with any seasonal fruit, and since berries are in season right now that’s what I topped mine with.

The tart shell is a classic french recipe using almond powder along with regular flour for a bit of texture and nutty flavour.

And the cream is smooth mascarpone mixed with vanilla beans, and a hint of sugar.

Finally to top off all those delicious berries I brushed them with a light apricot glaze.
